About Me

Jean Lee was a former certified chartered accountant who discovered her talent in drawing and watercolor painting.

I paint across a wide spectrum of subjects mostly in realism yet expressive and colourful renditions of the various subjects. I paint pet portraits, wildlife, birds, florals, and landscapes. In the past 2 years, I have sold more than 30 paintings ranging from pet portrait commissions wildlife paintings and floral works. My clients include friends from Australia and America. I also teach watercolor art from my home in Singapore. Apart from painting, I have an interest in nature and potter around my home growing vegetables and fruits. I love to explore the wonderful world of color through painting various subjects in nature.

Artists have a part in shaping the community. In this respect, I have contributed in a small measure towards the visually challenged in obtaining a guide dog by selling some of my dog portaits through the GDAS. Last Christmas 2021, I was also graced to donate cups printed with my art work for the benefit of the Mt Carmel congregation.
